(future) veggies

We're planning our veggie garden, and we're planning on growing the following items. The first are all seeds:

mesclun and salad lettuce mixes
swiss chard
zucchini, summer squash, and pattipan squash
sugar snap peas
pole beans
bush beans (a special variety supposedly more like "haricots verts")
cherry tomatoes - golden
grape tomatoes - yellow
heirloom tomatoes mix
baby bok choy
baby napa
carrots
cucumbers
fennel
radicchio

Perennial plants:
rhubarb
asparagus

Herbs:
basil, mint, oregano, chives, thyme, sage, marjoram, tarragon

I've linked to a spreadsheet for those interested in more detail of what we're buying (all from Park Seed at the moment). We'll post ground plans (we're going to build a series of slightly raised beds with landscape timbers) and pictures later.

We're also planning a patio and more extensive landscaping, although we don't know how much we'll get done this first year. We'll post patio designs and "inspirational research" as we have them.

Man...what's up with this Hippy family all of a sudden? I blame that Michael Pollan book. ;-)

So awesome! I'm jealous. :) I've been getting stoked about the U-pick farms opening up again this summer but we have to drive to them! Sounds like a fun garden. Eva is going to have a blast playing in your yard. :)
