While the cat's away . . .





. . . the mouse built this herb bench to keep herbs out of rabbit's reach. Can rabbits jump two feet high? The bench is made of white oak which is supposed to resist rotting. It will be painted for extra protection as soon as the cat (in the hat?) gets back.

p.s. the SpongeBob SquarePants motif was entirely subliminal.

I like it. Very cool! Now you'll get to see how fast mom (umm, the cat, I guess, in this Mattaphor) will fill it up with herbs and want another one.
We recommend basil (lots and lots), thyme, mint, and oregano. Tarragon and sage are easy growers too, but perhaps not as "toss in every dish" worthy!

As a side note I'm thinking that rabbits can jump over two feet high. Hopefully you are not just provided the finest in Michigan high-rise dining for Hazel-ra and Bigwig
