Here's what Jason Kapalka, creator of the game, Bejeweled, said about Mom's favorite game, Tetris, in Nov 2008 Wired:
"A timeless classic. Fitting pieces together feeds the same pleasure center of the brain that gets off on packing a suitcase really well or squeezing all your groceries into a single bag."

I don't really suppose it's a secret who is has a tetris personality!!! I LOVE packing in the smallest suitcase I can! Karen
There is a very real argument to be made for Tetris being the greatest video game ever made. And to think that the creator didn't see a penny of it until much later in his life (he worked for the Soviet Government and thus did not recieve royalties while the NES and Gameboy versions were selling like hotcakes).
